March Madness is here!!! Let the good times roll!
In other news, Abigail is going to be a sister! Now I can only imagine what kind of older sibling she’ll become. Probably bossy, dominant, busybody, and a total trouble maker. Well, as long as the next kid (hopefully a boy) turns out to be more like me then we’ll be ok.
We came back from New York a week ago and it was a very relaxing time. I spent most of my days sleeping in bed, moaning about my sore back, struggling to speak through my hoarse voice, and dealing with a nasty headache. Kate in the meantime was dealing with morning sickness and feeling tired. I think the person who had the most fun was Abigail. She was so excited to see Kayla/Katie, the twin sisters. But she was blown away by my favorite dog, Rocco. Constantly chasing after a dog whose head is as big as her upper torso. Now that’s my girl!
But many many thanks to Ellis and Angela, our amazing hosts. The Chu-motel’s reputation is well deserved. They fed us, clothed us, entertained us, and drove us around NY. We hope to see them again in the near future under better conditions. Here are some pics from our NY trip and other misc photos. Note that daddywang is not in any of them because I was home alone with Rocco.

yeah, finally the word is out! we really didn’t do much and we were so happy you guys came by to visit us! we have to do this again after the next one is one yr old so we can REALLY MAKE up for lost time! gosh, i just LOVE that video of abigail and rocco. way too cute! congrats!!!!!

on a completely unrelated note, i’m assuming you’re picking duke to go all the way =)
as movies made for entertainment go, 300 was well done. It wasn’t bad. It wasn’t made to evoke emotions leading to actions…(i’m thinking of movies like Hotel Rwanda, etc) It was an action movie based on a comic book based on a historical battle. So. in that context i enjoyed the cinematography, the humor sprinkled into the movie, the character development, and most of the action scenes. The violence was a little over the top and there was a bit more nudity than I prefer… but if you ask if it was good overall, over all categories, you have to sit down and think about what specifically makes a movie good overall. and whether or not 300 passes all of those requirements. off the top of my head i would say not a bad movie overall. but I liked braveheart and gladiator better than 300. =)
