I love being a daddy, Kate loves being a mommy, and Abigail just loves
being a baby! When she laughs, it sounds like the most
innocent/pure/perfect expression of joy. We can’t help but laugh
with her when she does that. Imagine how God must feel when we
genuinely express our joy/gratitude/trust/satisfaction in Him.last 3 pics come courtesy of Josh’s super/make-you-jealous/amazing
camera. 1st pic is Abigail meeting her granddad for the first
time.

Wow. Abigail’s expression in the first picture is priceless.
Look at her grandpa’s sly, satisfied smirk, contrasted by Abby’s nervous and frightened countenance. Her eyes telepathically communicate “Where’s my mommy?” while two radiant beams of light shoot from Granddaddy’s glasses. And notice the posture in which he sits as he holds the young one. Such stiffness! Such distance!
It must be a psychologically shocking experience to be held by a grandpa.
I shudder at the thought of how my grandpas might have held me.
hahaha…i think she’s shocked by the flash!

Babies can give you a great new spin on theology. I agree with Angela. We need to enjoy their each moment. They grow up too fast.
